Corporate Capers Home Page
Corporate Capers is a partnership of companies that meet nearly year-round to plan, implement, and compete in a series of events. Member companies each field teams of 30-100 employees, family members and friends to participate.
The largest of the multiple Capers events is the signature event, CORPORATE CAPERS DAY, at which corporate teams compete in a variety of athletic and non-athletic events including basketball, volleyball, softball, Trivial Pursuit, darts, and Name That Tune, among others. Companies are encouraged to enter at least five of the offered activities. Points are awarded in each event and a traveling trophy is presented during Closing Ceremony to the company accumulating the most points.
Special Olympics athletes serve as Honorary Head Coaches for each Capers Company team and compete along side the corporate participants. Corporate Capers Day will be May 19, 2007, at Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC).

The festivities will start at 5:30 PM with an exhibition scrimmage game that includes Special Olympic athletes and players from the Caper teams. The event requests a $25 donation per player, paid at the door, day of the event. The tournament format will be similar to the 2007 event and we will limit the tournament to the first 16 teams to enroll. Teams will play a minimum of three games.
This recreational tournament welcomes teams composed of Corporate Caper Companies, their friends and family, and non-Caper company teams. Teams will be put in an appropriate bracket based on skill level, their mix of men and women, and average age of the team. Players must be at least 18 years old. The captains of the top teams in each bracket will receive a medal. Raffle door prize donations and $300 field sponsorships are appreciated.
The 2007 event netted over $5,500 for Special Olympics Wisconsin and TOPSoccer (an outreach program for young athletes with disabilities), and we hope to net over $6,500 this year.
