Sam's Club Du Run Run

How fast do you run? Bike? Put them together and you have the Du Run Run, a duathlon benefiting Special Olympics Wisconsin Northeastern Area. What a great way to start your school year!

Want to win a new bike? It could be yours! Raise $300 or more in pledges and you will be eligible to win a new bike valued at up to $260 from InCompetition Sports. See below.

Event Information

The Du Run Run is a run, bike, run open to children ages 2 through 12 the day of the race. The 2 year-olds will start with a Fun Run; participant ribbons will be given to each child. Timed races follow and medals will be awarded to the top three finishers among boys and girls in an awards ceremony. Participant ribbons will be presented to all. The Du Run Run will help support over 1,000 Special Olympics athletes in our Northeastern Area with your registration and pledges.

Directions: 

Edison Middle School track 442 Alpine Drive, on Green Bay’s East side. Turn on Sherry Lane for closest parking and registration.

  • From the west: Go east on Mason St. to Alpine (pass East Town Mall).  Left on Alpine 2 blocks to Sherry Lane. Left on Sherry Lane. Park on street, small lot on Sherry Lane or Edison School parking lot.
  • From I-43: Exit Mason St. Go west to Alpine Drive. Right on Alpine 2 blocks to Sherry Lane. Left on Sherry Lane. Park on street, small lot on Sherry Lane or Edison School parking lot.

Registration fees

The required registration fees for the Du Run Run are $15 per child for the first two children registered and $10 for each additional child. For the registration fee, each child will receive the official Du Run Run T-shirt. Registration fees can either be paid online with a credit card or turned in on the day of the race.

Raise pledges for cool prizes

Another way to contribute to Special Olympics, and collect fun Du Run Run prizes, is to earn pledges. Pledges are not required to participate and can either be collected online or turned in the day of the race. Registration fees are not included in pledge totals.

Course lengths

  • Ages 11-12: 1/2 mile run, 2 mile bike, 1/2 mile run
  • Ages 9-10: 1/2 mile run, 2 mile bike, 1/4 mile run
  • Ages 7-8: 1/4 mile run, 1 mile bike, 1/4 mile run
  • Ages 5-6: 200 yard run, 1/2 mile bike, 200 yard run
  • Ages 3-4: 75 yard run, 200 yard bike/trike, 75 yard run
  • Age 2: 50 yard run

Police and emergency personnel will be on site to ensure a safe race.
