Volunteers Needed

Race & Spectator Guidelines:

  • For the safety, and space, of the Du Run Run participants we ask that all parents/spectators stay on the grassy areas and off of the race courses.  Some of the courses are two-lanes and we would like as much room as possible for the kids to run and ride.

  • Before your race is to begin, pick a "stall" in your designated transition area to place your bike and helmet.  This is also where the bike should be returned to when the bike portion is finished before continuing on the 2nd run.  You can decorate it as you wish and/or parents can stand in the grassy area by their chosen stall to help kids find their bike.

  • Participants, please WALK your bike in the transition area during your race. To avoid confusion, and have a safe transition area, we ask that kids do not ride their bikes in this space.

  • Participants, please get on and off your bike at the designated mount and dismount lines.  Volunteers will be in the area to help direct kids to the line where than can safely get on and off their bikes.

  • Be sure your helmet is buckled before leaving the transition area and beginning the bike portion of your race.

  • Make sure to have water handy after your race as it’s important to stay hydrated.  We will have water onsite as well for all participants following each race.

  • MOST IMPORTANTLY…. SMILE, have FUN, and ENJOY your Du Run Run!!
