Special Olympics offers something for everyone

The Young Athletes Program introduces children, ages 2 - 7, both with and without intellectual disabilities, and their families to the world of Special Olympics.

Unified Sports® groups team up Special Olympics athletes with other athletes who are not in Special Olympics.

Motor Activities Training Program (MATP) provides physical benefits for athletes with lower levels of functionality.

Athlete Leadership Programs (ALPs) provides leadership training and opportunities for athletes outside of sports.

Be a Volunteer
About 10,166 volunteers help Special Olympics events and training happen each year in Wisconsin. Whether you only have a few hours or if you would like to play a key role in your community Special Olympics program, we need your help.

Be a Donor
Special Olympics Wisconsin training and competition is made possible because of the generosity of countless individual and corporate donors. Some supporters are even willing to run long distances or jump in freezing cold water to raise funds for Special Olympics. There are many ways that you can help Special Olympics Athletes continue to reach for their dreams:

Be an Agency Manager
Agency managers head up the more than 180 Agencies (or teams) of athletes around the state of Wisconsin. Each Agency manager has several hats to wear, but often utilizes many volunteers to assist them in managing their Agency. Learn More.

Join a Fundraising Event
