2310 Crossroads Dr. Ste 1000

We're Moving!

On Thursday, August 26th, the Special Olympics Wisconsin State Program Office is moving to a new home at 2310 Crossroads Dr. Suite 1000, Madison, WI 53718-7600.

We will still have the same phone and fax numbers. The new office is about ten minutes from our current office, located near the intersection of I90/I94 and High Crossing Blvd (near Hwy 151).

The State office will be closed during the day on August 26th for the big move. The South Central Area 6 office will remain in the same office at 5900 Monona Drive, Ste 403, Madison, WI.

t-ball, golf and tennis during the State Outdoor Sports Tournament in Eau Claire, WI on August 6-8.

National Games LETR Final Leg Update

There may only be one symbol that is more powerful than the Special Olympics flag, and that is the Flame of Hope™.

From July 11 – July 18, law enforcement officers representing 47 Special Olympics programs along with nine Special Olympics athletes from around the nation, served as Guardians of the Flame®.

The journey began in Ames, Iowa, the site of the first ever 2006 Special Olympics National Games, and continued into Nebraska, visiting more than 70 cities and towns.

"Cindy Bentley: Spirit of a Champion” Book tells the story of a Special Olympics Wisconsin athlete

Cindy BentleyOn August 6, 2010, Special Olympics athlete Cindy Bentley of Glendale will join the ranks of Frank Lloyd Wright, Bob and Belle La Follette, Gaylord Nelson, Curly Lambeau, and other noteworthy people from Wisconsin. Her biography, Cindy Bentley: Spirit of a Champion will be published as part of the Wisconsin State Historical Society’s Badger Biography series for young readers.
