New President and CEO of Special Olympics Wisconsin Announced

April 4, 2016

Special Olympics Wisconsin’s Board of Directors has selected Kathleen Roach, MPH, MBA, to succeed Dennis (Denny) Alldridge, who is retiring July 1, 2016. Kathleen comes to Special Olympics Wisconsin (SOWI) with extensive experience in business management and nonprofit leadership. She will provide SOWI with sound leadership in strategic direction, statewide program oversight, operations management, fund development and public relations.

“Kathleen’s 25 years of experience combined with her passion for working with people of all abilities made her a natural choice for the role of President and CEO of SOWI,” says Jeff Mahloch, Chairman of SOWI’s Board of Directors.

Kathleen is proven to produce greater impact, generate enhanced revenues and provide sustainability for the future for a variety of nonprofits. “I acknowledge the responsibility of this position to the community and stakeholders we serve. I look forward to carrying the torch Denny lit 27 years ago,” says Roach.

Kathleen will begin her tenure with SOWI on April 25, 2016.
