Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2008 Plunge

Despite a brutal day of -32 wind chill at the time of our plunge, over 600 came out to dip fingers, toes, elbows, even tongues in the Eau Claire Polar Plunge. Thanks to everyone for helping to raise $105,000 for Special Olympics Wisconsin!

Wagner's Bowling Lanes (in non-smoking restaurant) 2159 Brackett Avenue, Eau Claire
Avoid long lines, turn in pledges, pick up incentive prizes & receive your plunge number & time. If registering as a group, ALL members need to sign a waiver.

Plunge Reminders:

If you pre-register, it is NOT necessary to come until 15 minutes before your plunge time.
No wetsuits!
EXPECT TO LOSE YOUR BREATH FOR A SECOND!
No running/diving. Water is only three feet deep!
Wear something on your feet.
Stay in tents until number before yours is called, then step out & plunge.

Please use costume discretion. This is a family event broadcast live on Community Television Channel 11.

Call 833-0833 for group packet which has everything you need to move faster through registration line. College, high school & middle school groups -- thanks to Cousins Subs, your group could win a sub party by being the group that raises the most money per person.

From Clairemont Avenue (Hwy 12), turn east on Cameron Street. Just before Luther Hospital,
turn right and follow polar plunge signs.
