Unified Bocce Showcase

Friday, August 3rd
Schneider Stadium

Our Unified Bocce showcase will be open for anyone wanting to Play Unified and will team up Special Olympics athletes with fans, family, and friends to compete in multiple games of Bocce.

Healthy Athletes

FREE health screenings! There will be three Healthy Athletes disciplines offered at the Outdoor Sports Tournament including Health Promotions, Fit Feet and Special Smiles. Special Smiles and Fit Feet screenings throughout the US have found that a large percentage of our athletes are unaware of the condition of their oral health and untreated foot conditions. Our ultimate goal is to improve each athlete’s ability to train and compete in Special Olympics as well as succeed in life.

We invite all athletes with a current medical on file with SOWI to the screenings, even if they are not competing at the Outdoor Sports Tournament. Come on over to Healthy Athletes and receive a Special Olympics health medal if you attend 2 of the 3 disciplines on Saturday!
