Movie project connects Special Olympics Athletes with high school students
On May 15, Kandu industries in Janesville hosted a special movie premier for several Special Olympics athletes with iMovies created by Diana Mishleau’s Job Skills Class from Craig High School.
The iMovies, which were created as part of a service learning project, featured athlete memory books as well as a slide show for the local Special Olympics agency and Janesville Leisure Services.
“I liked that I got to have my own iMovie with pictures of my family and friends,” said Special Olympics Wisconsin athlete Mila Holcombe.“ I liked working with all the Craig students and the movie party.”
