Wisconsin race tracks raise money for Special Olympics

Special Olympics Wisconsin would like to express its sincere gratitude to the Cars and Stars Promotion for their recent partnership with the American Speed Association Midwest Tour (ASAMT) and Kwik Trip for raising money for Special Olympics athletes.

The ASAMT and Kwik Trip have held three events this year at race tracks in Madison, Jefferson and Wisconsin Dells. These events were part of the ASA Midwest Tour and were designed to allow short tracks the opportunity to bring in stars like Johnny Sauter, Ron Hornaday, Rich Bickle, Dick Trickle and Steve Grissom. The funds raised at the tracks, on behalf of Kwik Trip, will benefit Special Olympics Wisconsin to fund sports training and equipment for athletes.

Upcoming events will be held in Plover, Kaukauna and La Crosse. Thank you to the Wisconsin International Speedway and everyone who helped to raise money for our athletes!

Outside of this event, Kwik Trip is a year-round Mission Partner of Special Olympics Wisconsin and donated more than $125,000 to the organization in 2007.
