Mattel warms athletes’ hearts with awards at chilly track meet
More than 20 Mattel employees recently took over the Area 6 Athletics Competition awards area, held in Oregon, WI on May 3. Mattel employees kicked off the partnership by hosting the awards area for athletes following their competition at the meet.
Mattel has granted $15,000 to Special Olympics Wisconsin as one of only a few programs to be offered the partnership.
The company partners with Special Olympics due to the strong international presence with offices in all countries which also have a Mattel corporate presence. Mattel also finds Special Olympics as a great organization providing opportunities for children (as well as adults), with a credible reputation offering both local level programming as well as an international scope of operations.
