Unified Soccer is part of Special Olympics’ Unified Sports programming. Dedicated to promoting social inclusion through shared sports training and competition experiences, Unified Sports joins individuals with intellectual disabilities (athletes) and individuals without intellectual disabilities (Unified partners) on the same sports teams. The program was inspired by a simple principle: training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding.

Jeff comes to Team Wisconsin from the hometown of Kimberly. He has been a Special Olympics volunteer since 2014 and he has learned a lot through his experiences with the organization. He says that volunteering has taught him to look beyond first impressions and give everybody a chance, which has allowed him to make friends that he would not have otherwise made. Outside of Special Olympics, Jeff enjoys cooking, reading, and card games.
