The City of Beloit has partnered with Special Olympics Wisconsin to bring Unified Golf to Beloit. This is an 8 week program that introduces children of all abilities to golf. This program is FREE and funded by Special Olympics Wisconsin. All participants will receive a free shirt as well as a snack at each class. The final week of instruction will include a demonstration of skills learned, as well as a “celebration” at the Ironworks Golf Lab.

Dedicated to promoting social inclusion through shared sports training and competition experiences, Special Olympics Unified Sports combines individuals with intellectual disabilities (athletes) and individuals without intellectual disabilities (partners) on the sports teams. The program was inspired by a simple principle: Training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding.
