As a way to build better relationships with our local programs (Agencies), SOWI staff will hold quarterly Zoom meetings for Regions 2 & 3 in 2021. These meetings will allow Local Program Managers, Coaches, Caregivers and Athletes the opportunity to connect with staff, receive timely informational updates, and learn more about Special Olympics related topics. Hosted by the Regions 2 & 3 Athletic & Development Directors, each meeting will also include assorted state staff and will cover sports and fundraising updates, as well as a broad category of finance, volunteers, recruitment, health, and unified topics that will be different each quarter. These meetings are meant to be informative and interactive; offering all constituencies a chance to not only receive information but to also provide valuable feedback to SOWI in hopes of becoming a better partner.
The meeting will be hosted on Zoom and stakeholders may call in from a phone or log onto the video session from a computer. The agenda will be posted at a later date.
