Are you looking for a sport and play program for your kiddo? Well, Young Athletes is the program you’re looking for! Young Athletes is a sport and play program for children with and with out intellectual disabilities ages 2 – 7 years old. Young Athletes introduces basic sport skills, like running, kicking, and throwing. This program offers families, teachers, caregivers and people from the community the chance to share the joy of sports with all children.
Young Athletes will be offered in La Crosse on these dates:
- September 8 and 22 (BBNC)
- October 6 (BRNC) and 20 (SSNC)
- November 3 (SSNC) and 17 (BRBNC)
- Culminating Event: December 1 (MPC)
These practice dates will be held at three different locations:
- Black River Beach Neighborhood Center = BRBNC
- South Side Neighborhood Center = SSNC
- Myrick Park Center = MPC
Practices will run from 9:00am – 10:30am. There is fee for this program, $5 for city of La Crosse residents or $10 non-city residents.
