Mega Holiday has teamed up with Special Olympics WI for this fundraising event. Stop by any of the Mega Holiday stations in the area and fill up your gas tank. That’s it! Mega will donate 5 cents for every gallon of gas pumped by Special Olympics WI athletes and volunteers. It’s the only day Mega Holiday becomes a full service station!
The stores will also be selling paper icons inside for $1. Money from icon sales will also be donated. Many stations will also be serving up grilled brats and burgers for lunch.
Join us between 10am-2:00pm to fill your tank and your stomach. Don’t forget it’s more than your gas tank, too. Think about bringing gas cans for the lawnmower, chainsaw, boat, RV and all the other toys you may own.
Filling your gas tank on May 12 will also fulfill the dreams of more than 1,000 Special Olympics athletes in the Eau Claire area and beyond. Mega Holiday gas stations will be staffed by volunteers from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. that day to pump your gas, wash windows and grill burgers and brats. 100% of proceeds from lunch, and 5 cents from every gallon of gas pumped will be donated to Special Olympics WI. Law Enforcement volunteers and community groups will also be working alongside Special Olympics athletes during the event.
