Special Olympics USA athlete Olivia Quigley is fearless — she is a powerhouse of energy and inspiration. Because of her drive and inspiration to so many, espnW named her as one of the 25 Most Impactful Women in Sport for 2015!

A self-described fighter, Olivia was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in February and postponed chemotherapy to participate in the 2015 Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles in July. Olivia almost chose to sit out the final 100-meter sprint because of how ill and tired she was feeling, but she said that taking home a gold medal would be a platform to inspire other women battling breast cancer all over the world. Olivia went to the Games to win and took home two gold medals in the 100 meters and 4×100-meter relay and a silver medal in the 200 meters.
