Years Involved with Special Olympics: 16 years

How has Special Olympics changed your life? I have an opportunity to participate in sports both individually and as a team member. Special Olympics gives me a chance to meet fellow athletes. I have also participated in Healthy Athletes which identified a hearing problem that has been corrected and have sports goggles and swim goggles which make a difference for competition.

What does attending USA Games mean to you? It means so much to me! I am very excited to be going as part of the Unified Flag Football team with our Badger Unified Partners and other athletes. I am looking forward to meeting athletes from all other the United States.
