How has Special Olympics changed your life? Special Olympics has taught me compassion, empathy, patience and brings such a joy in my life. I started volunteering to give back to the community, and learned quickly that Special Olympics has given me more than I could ever have thought. I could be having a bad day at work and within minutes of practice I am smiling and laughing and enjoying the laughing and growth that each practice brings for the athletes.
What does attending USA Games mean you to? Being able to attend the 2022 USA Games is such an honor and a privilege, I am looking forward to the friendships that will be made, as well as the hard work and dedication that will be displayed by athletes, coaches, volunteers, etc.
