Tennis is a popular sport played at all levels of skill and by players of all ages. Every athlete aims in passing the ball to the opponent’s side of the net, striking it with a tennis racquet. The sport emphasizes values such as fair play, sportsmanship and respect for fellow competitors. Tennis is not only fun to play, but it is a lifetime sport activity that is fun to practice and learn.
2022 Competition Options
State Competition
Athletes will compete in-person at Celebration Games in Waukesha on July 29-31. Athletes will be assigned divisions prior to the event based on qualifying scores. SOWI will run all competitions in compliance with the Return to Play Protocols based on the host county.
COVID-19 vaccinations are not required to compete at 2022 tennis competitions, but providing your vaccination status helps SOWI better plan each tournament within the Return to Play protocol. Click here to submit your proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
