Tennis is a popular sport played at all levels of skill and by players of all ages. Every athlete aims in passing the ball to the opponent’s side of the net, striking it with a tennis racquet. The sport emphasizes values, such as fair play, sportsmanship and respect for fellow competitors. Tennis is not only fun to play, but it is a lifetime sport activity that is fun to practice and fun to learn.

2021 Competition Options

Athletes can compete in both in-practice and in-person competitions!

In-Practice Competition:

Athletes can compete in an in-practice competition. Athletes will be divisioned based on their qualifying scores with all the other athletes participating in the in-practice competition across the state. Coaches will collect and submit them by the deadline.

  • Events: Tennis Skills & Singles
  • Qualifying Scores Due: July 19th
  • Final Scores Due: August 7th

State Competition:

Athletes can compete in-person at OST in Waukesha on Saturday, August 7th. Agencies will be assigned a time to compete to limit the number of people in the competition area. Athletes will be divisioned prior to the event and will be placed based on those divisions.
