World’s Largest Truck Convoy®
2017 Event Information:
The World’s Largest Truck Convoy® for Special Olympics is a national one-day celebration of the trucking industry, its allied partners and law enforcement all working together to raise funds for Special Olympics.
Wisconsin’s law enforcement officers will escort the Convoy from the Pioneer Travel Plaza in Richfield (exit #60) and travel north on Interstate 41 to Oshkosh (exit #113).
Special Olympics athletes and families, community organizations, companies and law enforcement agencies will welcome the truckers as they enter the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA grounds). Once they arrive, truckers are recognized for their support with music, lunch, awards and a celebration party.
In 2016, a record 204 trucks participated and raised nearly $124,000 for the 10,000 Special Olympics athletes in Wisconsin. Since 2005, Wisconsin’s Convoy has raised more than $1,085,374 with a total of 1,641 trucks!
Please join us for our 13th Annual Convoy on Saturday, September 16 and help us set a new record for our athletes! Register now and make your commitment to supporting the athletes of Special Olympics Wisconsin.
With sports at the core, Special Olympics has grown to be a movement that is not just about the largest disability population in the world, but about all of us. Our goal is for all of us to LIVE UNIFIED and celebrate the idea that there are millions of different abilities, but no disabilities. Help us spred the message that people with intellectucal disabilities can – and will – succeed when given the opportunity.
