As the United States continues to navigate through these unprecedented times with the COVID-19 pandemic and staying at home, we want to recognize and thank you. As essential workers, you are putting yourselves on the front line to make sure that we keep getting the goods that we need in our homes and businesses all across America. Please know that your hard work, sacrifice and commitment has not gone unnoticed by the Special Olympics Wisconsin community.
Please join us for the 16th Annual Truck Convoy for Special Olympics Wisconsin on Saturday, September 12 for a celebration of the trucking industry, its allied partners and law enforcement all working together to raise funds for Special Olympics.
Wisconsin’s law enforcement officers will escort the Convoy from the Pioneer Travel Plaza in Richfield (exit #60) and travel north on Interstate 41 to Oshkosh (exit #113).
Special Olympics athletes and families, community organizations, companies and law enforcement agencies will welcome the truckers as they enter the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA grounds). Once they arrive, truckers are recognized for their support with music, lunch, awards and a celebration party.
In 2019, 182 trucks participated and raised $105,000 for Special Olympics athletes in Wisconsin. Since 2005, Wisconsin’s Convoy has raised more than $1.3M!!
