Fall Sports Season

September 29, 2021

Fall is in the air and so is a new sports season! This fall, Special Olympics Wisconsin athletes will have the opportunity to compete in bowling, flag football, volleyball and our newest sport offering, cornhole.

SOWI will be hosting a modified bowling league that kicks off on October 4th for Special Olympics athletes and unified partners. Athletes can bowl at their local alley and submit scores to compete against other athletes across the state! The league will culminate in December with both a northern and southern state competition.

On October 9, the State Punt, Pass, Kick & Cornhole Tournament will take place at Neenah High School. Nearly 100 athletes from around the state will have the opportunity to compete in Team Flag Football, Unified Team Flag Football, Punt, Pass & Kick events and cornhole.

Lastly, State Volleyball will return to the Milwaukee Sting Center in Menomonee Fall on Saturday, November 6th.
