Special Olympics Wisconsin Welcomes New Board Member, Marc Cadieux

Special Olympics Wisconsin is pleased to announce that Marc Cadieux, Chief Financial Officer of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, has been selected to serve as a member of its board of directors.

With nearly 20 years exMarc Cadieuxperience in the industry, Cadieux will bring his rich finance background and strong leadership skills to Special Olympics Wisconsin. Cadieux has worked in financial services for the last 10 years at Children’s Hospital, where he became CFO in July 2015.

“I am thrilled about the opportunity to give back to the community as a board member of Special Olympics Wisconsin,” Cadieux said. “Like Children’s Hospital, Special Olympics is a mission-based organization. While Children’s strives to make Wisconsin kids the healthiest in the nation, Special Olympics provides children and adults with intellectual disabilities the opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage and experience joy. I’m proud to be able to help the organization further its mission.”

Cadieux’s passion for Special Olympics stems from his love of all sports, as well as his involvement with Best Buddies Wisconsin and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Possessing a strong belief in the mission and vision of SOWI, Cadieux is looking forward to making a positive impact on the lives of SOWI athletes across the state.

Board members are elected for three-year terms, and may be re-elected once for a total of six years. The membership of the board reflects diverse backgrounds, talents and life experiences, with all members united in a common interest in promoting the mission of Special Olympics.

Prior to joining Children’s Hospital, Cadieux worked as a senior manager for Assurance and Advisory Services at Deloitte in Milwaukee. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Marian University and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Lubar School of Wisconsin.
