This year we celebrate the 37th Annual Buckshot Run. Without volunteers the event wouldn’t be possible! Volunteer roles include set up, hanging banners, registration, handing out t-shirts, cheering/directing people along the course, greeting participants, clean up, etc.

Many volunteers are needed on multiple days.  You can sign up for one or all shifts!

Tuesday, August 27, 1-3 p.m. at Carson Park.  Tasks include hanging banners and caution tape, putting out t-shirts, moving tables, setting up the registration area and setting up the souvenir store

Tuesday, August 27, 4-8 p.m. at Carson Park.  Tasks include checking-in participants, handing out t-shirts, directing runners along the course, greeting, cheering, working beer garden (additional requirements must be met), tear down

Friday, August 30, 3:30-7:30 p.m., America Best Value Inn.  Tasks include checking-in participants, handing out runner packets, setting up/taking down tables

Saturday, August 31, 5-8 a.m. at Carson Park.  Tasks include hanging banners, putting up caution tape, moving tables, setting up the registration area, setting up beer garden and souvenir store

Saturday, Saturday August 31, 7-11 a.m. at Carson Park.  Tasks include checking-in participants, handing out runner packets, directing runners along the course, greeting, working a water stop, timing, cheering

Volunteer Requirements
Those handling money must complete a Class A volunteer form and watch a short video at least 2 weeks prior to the event (if not already a valid Class A volunteer).  You’ll be contacted prior to the event if you need to complete this form, otherwise, this registration is all you need to do.

All ages are welcome to volunteer, however children under age 12 must have parental supervision.
